The application of drama in teaching English to young learners (TEYL) is not new, but its potential remains underdeveloped. One reason for this is that teachers are often not fully aware of its benefits or how to apply it in their teaching. In this chapter, I argue that it must be introduced and rehearsed in teacher education in order to attain a widespread application in schools.
